it's a brilliant display of tactics…he awkwardly raises his sword, confusing his opponent, and then…TING the glare momentarily blinds him. then Rand just has to kick him in the balls or something. gg

up pussies, men!

you're a shitty parent if you're NOT letting your kid watch Deadwood.

"you can save room on your DVR by only recording one of them."

second half of season 3, however, is so good that somehow the overall season is a net gain.

Fright Night remake is good, though i've missed out on the original. Loved all the nerd touches, like the MTG cards and starcraft posters in the back. And David tennant.

well at least you're fleshing out your opinion down here…everyone will still hate you anyway.

you all joke, but I'd watch this. I'd watch Bob Odenkirk in just about anything.

yeah that's kind of where I'm ending up too. I really liked it at first, but the bad sketches are just starting to overpower the good ones to me. And some of the recurring characters are feeing like the same joke over and over. part of the reason I don't like SNL too

I really liked reading his stubborn defense of Lost up there. I came to the show late…after all the hype and backlash had more or less subsided. I think a lot of the intense haters are ones who followed the show as it aired. I can imagine being really frustrated as they string you along, then getting to the end and

Damn it… 18+ years on this thing, and I still haven't mastered internet irony

so true…if anything, S2 really suffered from a lack of Danes

Is TVDW also the one who said Homeland contained the greatest moment of acting ever acted (Claire Danes smiling)? dude needs to cut back on his hyperbole.

it's a labyrinthine oeuvre of five albums to work your way through…i'm surprised this primer was only 3 pages.

i have no idea either…i'm assuming people born post-2000. why those little brats would have any present or future claim as a "greatest" generation, I can't begin to imagine

big fan of this movie as well….i'm a sucker for most movies where you have no idea what the fuck is going on half the time, mostly due to a shuffled chronology. memento does this with a bit more polish, but its purely backwards structure becomes a little predictable. i like this film because a lot of the early scenes

Missed this last week somehow….great stuff. Easily better than most of what was on YLT's past 2+ albums. I feel like they're kind of in the twilight of their career, but I'll definitely check this new one out. Hoping it has more of the psychedelic bent…or at least a lot of crazy genre hopping.

it's a great show, regardless of how spoiled it's been. heck, i plowed through all of Lost after having had the secrets systematically revealed to me before i even watched the pilot.
