it's kind of like waterworld, but not as bad….that's how I remember it at least, which isn't saying much.

eh, just shrug it off and keep going. Seasons 3-5 are great, and eventually everyone you know and love will graduate and move on, and you'll forget all about the weird aging hiccup.

I've done the same thing with almost every classic show, since I always seem to be behind.

I'm glad they picked Scandal. The Sherlock episodes with Moriarity are always a bit too over-the-top absurd for me, so Scandal is the season-high almost by default. But I really loved it nonetheless, and especially Irene Adler.

exactly….i watched parenthood through most of the first two seasons, and it was generally a pleasant, enjoyable show. but that wasn't enough to keep me going. it feels like a really watered-down version of FNL. easily the worst bit of the episode for me. i think the cringe-worthy line of dialogue was something like "the only thing that could stop an army of snowmen was a family weeping on christmas eve"

yeah that's kind of how i'm feeling. also, i didn't really get the sense that the doctor was all that "devastated"….he was a bit mopey for about 30 mins, and then back to his normal self, just because someone said Pond.

I felt like the credits were going too much out of their way to look like super fancy CGI. kind of like how the 80s Who credits probably looked pretty spiffy at the time.
