is that band supposed to be a parody of something? i can't be bothered to watch the video, so just give me some cliffnotes plz thx.

I remember liking this episode a lot, and train job for that matter too. the whole season is pretty uniformly excellent, but I guess people need to nitpick something, right? for my part, the pilot and out of gas are probably the least engaging episodes.

I always wonder how often they do that in movies: surprise the actors to get a better reaction. I remember an anecdote about Close Encounters—i guess Spielberg dressed someone in a giant gorilla suit to scare the shit out of the kid when he was supposed to be looking at the alien for the first time. And the kid

two lines about Chris Kattan IS too long

they were laughing at the absurdity of him chasing a duckling in the middle of an armed standoff…not from a standup bit he was doing. i thought that episode/moment were both brilliant

pretty much every episode has ridiculously funny moments (often in the standup), but overall they might be more balanced to weirdness or drama. I've watched all of the first 2 seasons and most of S3, and I didn't notice any dip in quality at any point. it's all fucking good.

despite the glowing review, they make it sounds like Castle…without the Fillion. So put me in one of them circles.

yeah, shouldn't they have cast her as a double-crossing villain or something?

same here…I saw the trailer, and was like "oh that looks like a fun, subversive western romp!" then I remembered that tarantino is directing it, and all the fun is sapped out of his movies by his extreme self-indulgence. I can't think of a pair of movies that squandered their "fun" factor worse than KB2/Death Proof.

yeah…I didn't realize Life Aquatic was such a sacred cow around here. I liked it, personally, but I remember it getting a lot of negative reviews when it came out because of the length and aimlessness.
