yeah…I didn't realize Life Aquatic was such a sacred cow around here. I liked it, personally, but I remember it getting a lot of negative reviews when it came out because of the length and aimlessness.

I like Bad better than Thriller overall too…partly because Thriller's best songs have been overplayed to the point of being dull to listen to.

I think the definition of overhyped is a disproportionate amount of attention paid to a band with relatively few accomplishments. Almost all debuts are overhyped, and then the bands quickly forgotten afterwards.
