Same. Haikyuu! isn’t just a great sports anime, it’s one of the best overall. It takes a lot of talent to make that many characters memorable, and as far as the visuals, like I said Production I.G. has yet to let me down. This season was too short.

Another great sports anime I dont think got enough love was Hinomaru Sumo.

It was very good. It’s based on a manga written by Shiori Amase. I started watching the show specifically because I know nothing about Rugby and sport animes are pretty great with explaining the basics as the protagonist is usually always a beginner; the episode where they try to explain the names of the positions was

I think sports are the most consistently well done genre in anime, especially anything animated by Studio I.G..

Since when is Literature/Language devoid of historical context. What literature teacher doesn’t understand the importance of connecting art to the period of time in which is was created. Can you discuss Shakespeare’s Richard III or Henry VIII and not The House of Tudor. Can you teach “Inherit the Wind” without

It’s also a required part of any thorough English Literature curriculum. Even my lily white private school had The Portable Harlem Renaissance Reader as a required text.

I knew it was him by episode 2 when King is searching the closet and I thought Closer was about to start playing.

Unfilmable? The majority of the books are dialogue and character interactions, the best of which D&D lifted directly from the books (see all of Tyrion, Little Finger, and Varys best lines from the earlier seasons)

Content aside, when has Ghost in the Shell as a property ever lacked in style visually. Why would they st art now

I bought the ebook version on amazon a while back because it was only 99 cents, I would hope they’d have a decent translation. I always heard for any decent storytelling one should “show and not tell”, pages and pages where the “” are oceans apart is definitely more telling than showing.

Having read both the first and second Exorcist books I think the movie does well because Blatty’s dialogue and character development are flawless. There are few authors that can make what should be boring exposition interesting and witty. The part from the novels that I always remembered was the Jewish police man

It already exists in a way and the statements are always steeped in respectability politics and euro-centric beauty standards

People make time even when they dont have it because the natural hair community highlights looser curl patterns and normalizes what natural hair “should” look like; ‘baby hair’ included.

I hate this obsession with “laid edges” when it comes to natural hair. If its curly unleash the curls. I don’t understand why people fight to put hair in pony tail and end up with traction alopecia, just let the fro go.

It’s asinine just on it’s face in the light of facts that have already been outlined in the article. Bette already outed herself as white feminist TM with that stupid Yoko Ono quote about “women being the Niggas (hard R of course) of the world” (Side note: bitch, black women are right here). Anyway, given her Twitter

Oh, most definitively of the “well actually it’s ephebophilia” sort. I’m unbothered, it’s like watching a cat chase a pen light on the wall.

So now you want to get off the side street you ventured on to.

Also most (non deviant) adults don’t bother with “averages” and just presume it’s 18 and keep it moving. See one doesnt need to look it up when it’s non-applicable.

edit: does not equal (the stupid line disappeared)

Charged as an adult = adult. As far as the age of consent goes, like I said before only deviants...
