I’m so tired of people showing out and acting a whole fool over what amounts to cleavage and thighs. I watched the video and did not see anything that amounted to pornography or partial nudity. If you had a physiological response to the video, that’s fine. Own it. Don’t start screaming, “SATANIC!”, or “WHATABOUT THE

She’ll have a great career as long as there are white people.

I’ve watched a few Doja Cat interviews, thinking I’d get insight about how she’s using the zeitgeist and pushing the boundaries of what works in pop music. Like Charli XCX but less synth pop and more hip hop.

I am dumber simply for knowing who she is.

r/whoosh

The tone might have been dark (and I mean...it’s a show about profiling serial killers, it should be lol), but the actual scenes really weren’t. Most of the actual murders/violence/dark stuff happen off screen unless they’re not particularly violent or gruesome, and I mean even network shows like x-files, fringe,

“Enhanced severance” sounds like something a show like this would use as a punchline. Like, a sexual abuser gets let go from his company but still gets a massive retirement bonus, then someone kills him and cuts off his dick. And one of the characters says, “Boy, talk about enhanced severance”.

My dad watches that show 24/7 and I can honestly say I have NO idea what you’re talking about lol.

I’m not really arguing, but that means you have to question pretty much every generic procedural on TV since they all make a habit of killing off a young, pretty woman before the opening credits.

Something something unsub is escalating after being triggered whatever...

Bebop is mentioned at the top of the article as the show that everyone recommends to newcomers, so I assume it’s the article’s de facto ninth recommendation

Yeah, the lack of Cowboy Bebop makes this list quite suspect. The show has held up and I can usually sell people with the line “Did you like Firefly? Firefly basically stole its entire concept from Cowboy Bebop.”

I’d add Cromartie High School to the list as well.

I’ve seen a lot of anime, though I’m also a major critic of most anime... and both Black Lagoon and Monster come up as mediocre in my mind. They do nothing to leverage the medium, and Monster in particular goes on and on and on... amounting to very little by the end. Should’ve kept it a concise 26 episodes, I think.

Came down here to see someone drop Hajime No Ippo. Not leaving disappointed.

was really surprised not to see Haikyuu! in the article. not because the others aren’t also great, but because Haikyuu! is just so good :) (and kind of a big deal)

If you like baseball, Ace of Diamond is a good anime.

Ahiru No Sora is the BEST basketball anime out right now. Like, the emotional lengths this anime has me going is unreal. The main players styles are based off of NBA legends and it’s been fun watching with my partner trying to guess who is based off of which player.
