I’m sorry, do you want Push to take LONGER? No. I don’t even mind Push that match. But no.

Speed is great when it gets teams to where they need to go, and spawn-camping shouldn’t be a strategy except at the highest of levels.

I’ll buy this when I can guarantee I can log on and play it. Looks like that’s not the case right now. Shame.

The telltale game deserves a movie treatment tbh.

Lol come on dirtside. I loved BL2 as well, but it still had bad writing. HUMOROUS writing, but bad. It leaned heavily on a trope-y villain with a good voice actor.

We will not speak of BL3.

I don't think this guy would've made a good Superman anyway

This patch is a tremendously good thing. Supports needed to be knocked down a peg (especially at high-level play) and DPS needed to feel effective if they weren’t burst-damaging someone from full to 0 in a second.

The teamfights are more tactical, and the hitboxes work out in actual play - the meme videos of Mercy’s

While I think the movies haven’t had the same peaks as the Infinite saga - I’ve also recognized that there’s really only one way to go from there, similar to how Star Wars and a few other beloved series have gone.

I also struggle to really compare anything to Iron Man and the much older MCU - especially because that

If you don’t like a series of movies, no one’s forcing you to watch them. I’ve consistently enjoyed most MCU products, even some of the shows, and I think there’s a ton of group-think about Marvel itself coloring the reception to its individual products. The Marvels and even Quantumania very much included there.

I get

Are you the one constantly saying they’re going 4v4 eventually? There’s been absolutely no indication of this, and hell, this patch is a move in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION from that.

The Marvels was far, far better than Quantummania. The Marvels felt like “old school” MCU in a way that many other recent movies have kinda lacked.

So it wasn't thaumaturgent, I guess

It was good, but incredible? Nothing Garth Ennis has done has been incredible except maybe Preacher. And that also had his very boring tropes.

This way they can reuse sets, effects, etc. This is the new HBO we're talking about

Supports need to be doing more healing and less DPS in general, I think once people get used to the changes, this will be the case. This is to keep support healing for teamfights and less “let me top you up” outside of that. Also less healthpack use by DPS meaning they may stick with supports more.

Supports have always

I was hoping they’d somehow ditch the documentary thing, but hey, whatever. They do seem to be doing less “talking directly at camera” stuff, which I enjoy.

I know these mockumentaries are popular - I love What We Do in the Shadows as well! - but it’s definitely a crutch. Why spend all your time on dialogue when you

It’s Madame-ing Time!

Fun fact, this is basically the plot of the video game Primal Rage. Taylor Swift is Vertigo, except she doesn’t live on the moon.

God, I’m old.

You must’ve missed the Netflix show.

I curioused about it all last night, in fact.

The only reason I was in the mood to read this entire post is because I’m also listening to The Box right now and minutiae of operations is totally my jam. So well done!

Agree that that bit of writing was sloppy. I don’t think I’m down on TD as much as you are but that entire thing strained my own credulity, and
