If the Mk4 Supra had a Toyota engine, it most certainly wouldn’t have been an inline 6, probably some Hybrid 4-cyl, and Toyota knew that. That is my theory as to why they teamed up with the most prolific manufacture of inline 6 engines in the modern era, BMW.

Some people just want a Toyota inline-6 under the hood. There are plenty of practical reasons why Toyota decided not to develop and build a new inline-6, but some people don’t want to hear that.

Can we just clarify number 14, about turn signals, please? It’s not good enough to put your turn signal on just as you’re making your turn or changing lanes. How about adding “Just be civil to one another.” If someone is trying to merge, don’t speed up to cut them off. Conversely, the person merging owes a wave of thanks to the person who let them in.

This fits firmly in what I call a Parade Car.  Drive it in a parade and wave to everyone and everyone will love it.  Have a grand ol’ time.

Design opinions aside, it’s the worst engineered vehicle on sale in the US today. I would trust a Fisker Ocean (no long on sale) or even a VinFast before taking a Cybertruck on the road.

Sadly buying a $100K look-at-me vehicle and then intentionally damaging by walking on it and throwing stuff at it has become “the most American” thing to do these days. I long for the days when people tried to cover up their stupidity.

I wish it were currently a “driver” but the work required seems reasonable. Nice Price. Perfect weekend car for the evening dinner (flummoxing the valets) or taking the grandkids for ice cream and a walk on the beach.
