It’s exactly what Musk wanted it to be. It’s a rolling troll. it exists only to draw attention, and it’s clear no one taught Musk that there’s a difference between good attention and bad attention because “either way, they’re talking about me.”

who buys a cyber truck? who looks at the cybertruck and thinks “this is the best solution for my needs”?
“she had reserved her Cybertruck more than four years ago and had put a custom license plate on her new vehicle: “GRLBOS.” She added that she surrounded the plate with diamonds.”
I suppose that can be his yearly event like Bush Sr. skydiving.
Except remote gas filling is quick and reliable. While remote car charging is anything but. That could change, but expecting people to dedicate 20+ minutes assuming everything goes right (charger isn’t taken or broken) of their busy lives to charge a car is borderline elitist. Not to mention that continually fast…
Put a camera on each zipper merge, and start handing out fines and suspensions to every asshole that doesn't allow merging.
2nd Gear:
I know this is a crazy thought but can we find a way to get law enforcement to actually enforce based on the threat vs revenue. I drive about 1000 miles a month...so average miles...and running red lights has become a completely normal thing because there is no enforcement. Better get that dude on the 6 lane wide…
The “Chicken Tax”. Let me get all those sweet forbidden trucks from overseas.
Noise laws as it relates to exhaust. I don’t want to be able to hear your exhaust from 1/4 mile away as your crappy Civic speeds by. The goal should be quieter cars, traffic and neighborhoods.
There should be laws around lifted trucks/visibility (I’m nearly 6' tall and some of those hoods come up to my chin or higher)…
Building and attempting to sell a huge $80k plus Hummer or another huge pick up truck is repugnant to people who’s idea of an EV also encompasses the idea of efficiency. Look at the EVs that are selling. Cheaper, and not huge.
CAFE
1st Gear: Why are they just adding PHEVs. They should also add regular hybrids. There are millions of people in this country who have no way to charge at home (park curbside, rent and have no control over electrical outlets, etc).
This... “We cant sell EV’s.”
Two words:
its slowing because 60% yoy is hard to keep up. also slowing because they keep pulling back sub 40k evs and trying to sell us 80k trucks and suvs. if rivian can keep that 35k price on the r3 they claimed id gladly buy one. or lease one if i was in colorado and could get that 9$ a month lease on a leaf. wish texas…
I’ll be THAT GUY! I went NP. He won’t get his asking but I can see this car as a future classic. It’s been driven so you can forget about climate controlled storage in your living room. It’s as “supercar styling” as any on the market. Sub-4 second 0-60 (oh how jaded we’ve become). I can see a solid state battery…
OMG, no. The “pooping another car” would actually be a selling point (for those of us with warped senses of humor) but the miles, and gas mileage for a hybrid at nearly 50k with nearly 100k on it? NOPE NOPE NOPE right out.
I’m not buying a car with a loan on it with a cracked windshield at any price. It seems like the seller can’t make payments and wants to sell the car to pay off the loan, and if they can’t do that they can’t do the maintenance and repairs needed for this car. ND.
Three votes in and all for ND
