Yeah, I have no clue either. I just suggested the ST because of the dog crates. If it were me with that budget, I’m going F-150 STX with the Ford Performance supercharger, so it’d still be under warranty, and still have enough change left over to get like a Fiesta ST or something

Just a minor difference in power

From what I am seeing, the Flex has the 3.5 EB at 287hp, where the Explorer ST has a 3.0 EB at 400hp 

After doing some quick research, it has a bigger engine than the standard ones. The normal engine is the 2.3 EcoBoost, whereas the the Platinum and ST come with a 3.0 Ecoboost, and the ST has a tune to bump it from about 380hp to 400
