Robert Parish. Charles Barkley. There’s multiple players for you to satisfy your self-impsed burden of proof, if you’re calling me out on shit. And no, I don’t have firsthand knowledge any more than you, but was the bar you set for me - that my opinion is somehow invalid because I am not basing it on personal

Give it time. I am up before 5 every day, weekday or weekend. I don’t need more than 6 hours of sleep, so sleeping in is not going to happen. But I look forward to 5a on Saturdays and Sundays when I don’t have to work. Let the wife and kids (ages 10-19, no babies but lots of tween/teen angst from 4th grade to the

Doing the drive next week, already dreading the traffic. Looking to get reacquainted with our friends at the Beer Store in Cobourg.

The 455 is dumb but at least it’s a number nobody would ever wear (outside of lower division Mexican soccer).

And in so doing, Lebron James couldn’t wear #23 when he actually played for the Heat.

Based on multiple players in the league (past and present) calling him fat and out of shape. Based on him devouring Shirley Temples by the gallon. Based on him being out of shape before he got hurt. Or do you know something we don’t?

They were indeed.

Dropped him this afternoon. Unfortunately, there is no room for sentimentality in my league. Had Oscar Tavares in the same league a couple years back. Maybe it’s me.

More likely a sudden and lethal failure of the electrical conducting system than (congestive) heart failure.

I actual remember when offer sheeting RFAs was done as a mix of cagey strategy and “fuck you, swallow the poison pill”. Gentleman’s agreement or not, it was fun to watch one team target another and make an offer that put the RFA’s team over a barrel. Sure, it never got the Flyers any closer to a Cup, but it was fun

I want to believe that. It’s also not entirely true. He could be in better shape.

Your point, as I understood it, is that a guy with the maturity of a college graduate who is still growing into his body is at his peak. I don’t think we’re there, unless he has zero competitive drive whatsoever (which I doubt for now).

They got stonewalled... in NYC... during Pride Month. I don’t know that there’s a connection, but here we are, Mr Vice President...

Freddy Mercury wasn’t a solo act. Maybe some of the members of Queen are hetero and like big booties?

You’re both right in this case.

I don’t think we’ve seen peak Simmons. He turns 23 this month, he is the age most people graduate college. He is still growing into his body and can still improve. The biggest question is whether or not he will improve. He is athletic enough and has a good feel for the game, and he is a solid defender. It astounds me

It takes money to buy a pretty one though. Ever seen some of these discount plastic surgeons? Yowzah.

This is the hair you’re splitting to die on this hill? Uh... OK...

15 years as head coach in Philadelphia is “on the job”, bro...

There’s enough to criticize Andy Reid for (clock management, playcalling, draft strategy, team building and refusal to grow and learn after 20+ years on the job), and this douchenozzle went with losing a son to drug abuse. Burying one of my children is my worst nightmare, irrespective of circumstance. I wouldn’t wish
