You’d be surprised, but I get your point.

The Jets added black trim during the Parcells years - facemask and around the numbers, stripes and helmet logo. It’s not entirely new. It’s not a great idea but not unheard of, particularly for in small doses for contrast. The all-black alt is garbage. Go with gray - like an Air Force fighter jet.

...for a book written in 1952?

43, just went for the first time since peeing when I got up at 5 this morning.

Seconded for the same reason.

He was really madder at the Rangers. And that bat flip wouldn’t crack the Top 10 in Korean baseball.

Ruthless, cold efficiency, a lust for being near the periphery of power and hypertraditional gender roles?

I actually field tested it. Hilarious for both of us. We also use “Woman, mind your tone”, after something a former patient of mine said to his wife at a visit to my office. Good stuff.

It’s not (quite) like it was in the old days of the 700 level at the Vet. Phillies games aren’t Eagles games. And there really isn’t much civic rivalry between San Diego and Philadelphia. That said, my experience these days is that if you don’t want trouble, don’t start trouble, and 9 times out of 10, you’ll be fine.

Ah, the Joe Table days. You have to be someone special to be despised by 2 fan bases as disparate as Philadelphia and Cleveland, but he had “it”.

Not a single one of them seemed to mind when Jayson Werth came down I-95 from Philadelphia to do the same job with a division rival for considerably more money. Hmmm...

Left shift as well, and I can type, and I am ambidextrous. I never thought of it until just now, but the thought of using the right shift is alien. Same for the CTRL/ALT buttons.

Do you think this guy’s rational thought processes were working where he was considering the consequences of his actions could end up with a manslaughter rap? Or, was he violent and unhinged and attacked someone based on presumably mistaken identity and just looking to beat some ass?

One of the nicest experiences I ever had as a road fan was in Milwaukee. I had no rooting interest (Braves @ Brewers, I’m a Phillies fan), but we scored 2nd row seats behind the dugout, and all the guy wanted for them was that we had a good time and we all had plenty of beer. A day game at County Stadium with a brew

So is Maikel Franco.

Easy now. Lay off my Heels. I can only imagine the look on my wife’s face if I shut her down with “Woman, you know better than this.” In any context, not just if UNC is on. She’d probably sprain something laughing at me. Then I would laugh, because it’s 2019 and no sane person talks to their spouse like that.

Yeah, Jeets...

Making me eat cat feces would be hazing, so I will not. And good day to you, sir.

FunFact: Eckstein is German for “cornerstone”, and that is 100% true.

It’s up to the guy in the replay booth. Who gets to slow the action down to frame-by-frame, where every action *could* be PI going both ways. I think it is going to make things worse, not better.  Replay was designed for glaring misses; now we can’t decide a catch is a catch without beating it to death endlessly.
