repair bills add up quick on them past 100k. i bought mine for 3k and spent another 13k over 4 years fixing and modding it. i was a dumbass high school/college student with few other financial obligations got rid of it at 164k because it was killing me on gas driving from long island to nj twice a month to visit home…
my first vehicle was a 94 jeep wrangler that i had for 4 years then i sold it and bought a 2006 350z. there are still days when i seriously regret selling it. theres nothing quite like a jeep experience

you can, as a owner of an aircraft, perform your own basic preventative maintenance. anything major or structural has to be done by an a&p. he definitely should have seen the nest in his first wreck.
