if you’re the type of player that wants the objectively best player to win every game, there are other games besides Hearthstone for you to watch/play.

Pity it doesn’t seem to available in Canada.

Racism did not and could not have existed forever, as you claim, because the constructs of race are only five centuries old. Prejudice, tribalism, and xenophobia have always been, but none of those things are racism.
Racism is prejudice+power.
Well, you can whinge on the internet about more than one problem at a time, as for doing something constructive about those problems, I kind of doubt most people are able to handle even one.
I don’t really know enough about ancient Rome to discuss it intelligently and I can see how a distinction can be made between racism as it exists today and tribalism. But I think you’re selling the ancient Romans short. There are tons of examples throughout history of “ancient” civilizations having extremely…
I don’t think that’s whitesplaining so much as it is just explaining, regardless of whether they got the country right or not.
Pretty much everywhere that’s been touched by Western colonization maintains degrees of internalized racism, even those with majority POC populations.
I’ll let you in on a secret: Most of the world aren’t Americans, and thus aren’t weighed down with 4+ centuries of racial clashes.
The truth is that these are not “western taboos”
Counterpoint, Messi’s not aware of a very common aversion to shoes in the Middle East? He travels all the god damned time, he should know better. It’s not like the Egyptians are the only people in that area who consider shoes (and feet) insulting; the article mentioned another relatively recent high profile incident.…
Both Greece and Turkey are members of an organized alliance of nation states. They may be regional rivals and enjoy harrassing each other, but they aren’t doing flyovers on the edge of a war zone.
I mean, I agree with you. It would weaken the treaty and NATO is a vital part of MAD.
At that point, the US wouldn’t necessarily need to come to Germany’s aid, or the UK to France’s aid, etc.
I am doubtful they fired while it was in Turkish space and it certainly was hit in Syrian airspace.
I’m not really sure I get the reactions here. Yes, it’s probably not the wisest move on the part of the Turks, warnings or not, but they have made it abundantly clear that they will aggressively defend their airspace in the past, so they’re consistent, at least.
As a teenage boy it was impossible not to have a crush on Black Cat.
I haven’t read enough things with Ivy in them, but she’s a great villain. My personal favourite is Black Cat. She hasn’t really metastasized as a character in the Marvel universe as it’s currently unfolding yet, so it would be easy to retconn the dumber parts of her background and make her a great character.
Zuko is the best recently created villain, to my mind. He actually comes across as a super powered angsty teenage boy. I always wonder what the story would have been like had he and Sokka been in reverse roles.
Kingpin has always been the best Marvel villain because he seems to have sprung organically from the world he’s been set in.
