Wilson Fisk from Netflix’s Daredevil in my opinion is one of the most compelling villains in the MCU thus far short of Loki.

I agree. Nobody was making those jokes in 1914. If the US ever lost as many men as the French did in WWI and suffered as much devastation to their home as the French did, I think the US would have a much different view of war than it has now.

There are no rules preventing women from playing in the 2018 World Cup. It’s considered an open competition. If Hope Solo is the best American goalkeeper at that time (and god help me, she might be), the she will be allowed to compete.
