Yeah, dismissing that is really weak. Good ideas need to be implemented well or they lose some of their luster. I am sympathetic to the idea that constantly yelling “HOW WILL WE PAY FOR IT” is a form of derailing but dismissing any hand wringing doesn’t change that paying for progressive ideas and implementing them…

Oh for sure. I just chuckled at the OP’s comparison to coffee shops. The comparison definitely works but I was amused by the train of thought that added up all of the elements they listed and got coffee shops. I see it but my brain went straight to bar, first.
