you’re a pretty good troll.

glib but with a few grains of truth.

good. it should be legal to publish truthful information about people.

Bravo, madam/sir.

“Apocryphal comments from anonymous persons who may have a political agenda.”

TV reporters are the only ‘journalists’ worse than smug, self-righteous bloggers. So kudos I guess?

I feel largely the same way (though, obviously, to a lesser extent.) I guess my attachment and willingness to pay for the Times (and WaPo) despite my misgivings is that I don’t see too many alternatives that are large enough and have enough cultural heft to actually get comments from powers that be, whether in

Typically I’m saddened by unhealthy American food trends. This one works for me though. I am a fiend for spicy buffalo wings.

I kinda feel like boneless wings are just a sauce delivery vehicle but bone-in wings are their own meal.

I just don’t get it, that’s all. The Times’ opinion section is trash but the actual reporting is usually really good. I subscribe to support the reporting, contributing to the trash op-ed columnists is just an unfortunate side effect.

So you only subscribed to the Times to read other people’s opinions?

So you like to trash the Times because you don’t like the opinion section? It’s shit. But its one section of an otherwise solid (though not perfect) paper.

I’m legit impressed that the tomato troll is still around.

i think you’ve had enough day drinking today, pal.

i don’t even comment that much but even i—a lurker—am relieved for you.

This was an absolute joy to read as an incorrigible crank. Thank you.

Did you read their response and entirely dismiss what they said?

I think nothing better illustrates the difference in mindset between (much of) the left and right than “Darker, Gayer, Different.”
