I just want an EV wagon. VW could bring back the Alltrack or maybe give us the Golf R Wagon here in NA and make it an EV when they start making the ID.GTI in 2026. I know we’ll never see the ID.7 Tourer here. With that being said used Taycan CT are getting really close to my price range.

I always figured these were just the equivalent of truck nuts for semi drivers. Now I know that...well, they’re only 95% equivalent to truck nuts.

We are entering an age (god I hope it’s only 4 years but who knows) of (royal) court politics- whoever has the shiniest keys to jingle in front of the Dauphin will get the most attention, and being able to blame our horribly mismanaged problems on something distracting will become paramount. 

As I’ve said elsewhere, one of the biggest DEI gains was for the elderly- age discrimination in workplaces is a lot harder thanks to DEI, because including (inclusive) elderly (diverse) workers and making accommodations for them (equity) makes our workplaces better and makes us more stable as a society.

Aaaaaaand therein lies the truth. These “cuts” all look good on paper, until each Rep realizes that HIS constituency is about to get f#cked, at which point the cuts are unsupportable. Shit like “agriculture support” and stuff will NEVER be cut, because there are no more loyal GOP voters than farmers.

The people that tell you that DEI is discrimination against white people are the same who will tell you that affirmative action is discrimination against white people and is reverse racism against whites. Disgruntled white people are angry that they have to compete for jobs against people who don’t look like them on…

I am not a fancy expert on how the government works, but some random, made-up department can’t unilaterally make budgetary changes, correct?  Doesn’t the House still control the purse strings, as the old saying goes?  Which isn’t to say the House wouldn’t go along with this, given its current makeup, but still.
