Y’all dumped on Dave Ramsey a couple months ago, but man, I think this guy needs a little Dave Ramsey.

What investment guarantees 3% returns?

Because when the shit hits the fan, you have more payment flexibility. Because used car financing is not that cheap.
Because investment returns are not guaranteed, but interest avoidance is. Because jobs aren’t forever. Because being able to sleep at night has value. Shall I go on?

If it’s the fucking Changli I will burn this website to the ground

Holy fuck Mr. Gladiator-Guy. Who the hell thought $650 a month for a lease was a good deal? And how the hell are you still paying $452 a month with three years left on a five year old Miata.

I dunno. I think conquering the TUV is going to send David back to the US full of boundless confidence in this lawless land.

maybe TÜV slaps some sense to him

First of all, how a 18 years old ends up restoring a malaise era crap mobile such a 1980's Cutlass Supreme, a car with zero known qualities and appeal.

David Tracy with the sensible suggestion. Has the world gone ma- oh...yeah.

My 6 yr old wanted to watch it and I said no.  Plenty of time in his life to be sucked into politics BS, he should stick with Legos and Spider-Man.

Neutral: I made my kids watch it, primarily because I wanted them to see what a civil debate looks like (at least in contrast to the shitshow that Trump put on last week).

And it’s not just short sellers, oil/gas companies and legacy car makers.”

I imagine all those entities coming together in a dark cave plotting against Tesla. Then the roof just falls off by itself and they're just like, "Nah, let's wait."

I think he messed with the robot that glue on the roof.

Did someone steal all the Strap Guards?

CPO costs more per month than to lease... Unless of course you're leasing CPO which means you should just kill yourself now.

Hey, I drive a Lexus. Acura kicks its ass in the tech department. I mean hell, Lexus only very recently finally put a HUD in the cars. Acura’s been doing that for years, and even Hyundai has one available.

Great points all around but especially on Lexus. I recently rode in a friends’ new ES300 Hybrid and it had the requisite hybrid gizmos and whatnot along with a decent number of features. But they could be ignored. It was a very comfortable place ot spend a few hours tooling around (in the back seat).

You can buy a 4Runner and scratch that itch.

A low quality car means I’m more likely to buy another car in 5 years, but I’ll be damned if it’s the same brand. ;)
