I find McDonald’s burgers in europe (russia) are far superior to those in the States, but Burger King and other US chains there are way worse.

with NFT you have receipt of payment. that is all. nothing else.
If the receipt is what you wanted to own - then fine.

they own a receipt that they paid $$ for the “something”. That “something” is owned by someone else.
And if they lose the piece of paper on which they wrote the password/address to their Vallet that contains that receipt — they will never recover it.

with Pollock painting you actually get a Painting , canvas and all, that you can touch , move to your kitchen or safe and in 100 years your descendants can open it and still see it.
With this “yacht” - you don’t own anything. Once the sanbox platform dies - no record of you ever owning it will exist and you can’t move…

I understand HOW it works, but I don’t get WHY.
Unless it’s just money laundering mechanism for advanced users.

they are not more secured. the blockchain tech is less efficient and no more secure that current tech used. (not even talking about energy use - pure network/transaction speeds)

with NFT’s you do not own “mona lisa” or its CoFa - you own a receipt that you paid X amount for “mona lisa”. that’s it.
Actual “mona lisa” is either owned by someone else, or is entirely free to anyone to download.

and NFT’s or blockchain in general are not that solution. not even close.

except they don’t provide any sort of ownership to anything real, even if digital.
