Steelers fans like him again now
Not really, because batting lefty is an advantage — most pitchers are right-handed, and you’re closer to first base. It’s the bat right/throw left guys, like Rickey Henderson, that are weirdos.
And not all is lost for lefties. The vast majority of first basemen are left-handed and, if you’re a lefty and can throw harder than 93, you can have a 10 year career floating around various bullpens.
After years and years of the wonderful, blessed “Get a brain, morans” meme, we actually have a Brian Moran?!??
I disagree with your assessment. Fenway is only 310 down the line and Rosario is a good 5-10 feet in front of the warning track so he might be less than 300 feet from home plate. That would not be a sac fly to the warning track in almost any stadium.
It is illegal to present a falsified National Weather Service report. BUT! I think that only applies when the country follow laws and stuff.
That’s ridiculous.....
The announcer sounds like what my dog would be like.

Pitcher, Umpire, Batter, and Catcher together: “Bill Pullman sucks.”
Oh yeah.
“Wawa does not have Top Tier fuel.”
I blame poor gas station designs. Ever go to one with a broken pay-at-pump system, so you have to go in to pay. It generally works like this:
“All that separated Verlander from a perfect game was giving up a walk to Cavan Biggio in the second at-bat of the game.”
9 people from Toronto and no hits... what is this, Broken Social Scene?
Was onboard until... outback?
at some point maybe corporate America will realize selling $35-55k cars is difficult if there is no middle class
This is one of the times where my words escape me (though surely some fellow reprobate down below will fire off a black humor one-liner) and all I can think of saying is thanks, Barry, for posting this, and my heart goes out to Bivens and those around him.
I don’t think you’re grasping the point of the rule - it’s actually to protect the defense. You’ve seen how long it can take for a player to get out of the stands or the dugout after making a catch - often, enough would-be time for the runners to advance more than one base after tagging up (especially if the player…
