Jicama is a fruit. Or is it a vegetable? Gourd? Ohhh... it's a "tuberous root".

Android v1.6 was called Donut, so they probably won't re-use that one. I think "Jelly"-something is kind of a sure thing though.

Still though, the OP is right.

Well, that's already the case, but perhaps just not to a far enough degree.

I agree. The concept is pretty cool. If I was single, I'd totally be willing to give it a shot.

"But those shortcomings don't seem to me like major show stoppers with this price tag."

My Comp Sci Bachelor's not only offered an Ethics course, it required it to graduate. It was a senior level course that heavily emphasized tech laws, such as copyright infringement (like the DMCA) and security (like the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act).

"Besides unless your planning on rooting, HTC's sense is far better then Samsung's TouchWiz UI. "

First off, I've gotta say that I whole-heartedly agree with Jesus' opinion. The idea of charging scientists for manslaughter because of what an earthquake did is ridiculous and offensive to me. It is well known that accurately predicting earthquakes and their approximate magnitudes is notoriously difficult guesswork.

That's exactly what I was thinking about this. If we can potentially send scientists to prison for things like this - for incorrectly answering a question that is famously difficult to answer - then we're going to see a rapid decline in the number of scientists in the world.

Agreed. I think Les Stroud is more impressive and realistic, but Bear Grylls is a lot more fun to watch. He puts himself in dangerous, exciting situations that Les Stroud wouldn't go anywhere near, because frankly the best way to survive is to simply avoid that kind of crazy stuff.

I would swear that I've already watched several seasons of Man vs Wild and Mythbusters (like, every episode that had aired), as well as at least one season of Survivorman, on Netflix streaming over 6 months ago. Am I crazy?

Oh yeah, I hadn't even thought of that. Using it as a wireless hub to easily control and transfer things across your system(s). Put your tablet on it, spread out the different video files you have on the device onto the Surface like a bunch of cards, then fling one onto your TV across the room. Or pulling up a stack

One of the coolest features I remember seeing from the old Surface promo was the ability to place devices on it, such as your phone or camera, and then sort of spill the content out of it across the surface. So it would be like putting a stack of photos on a normal table and spreading them out in a quick motion like a

According to this, Samsung is not the only game in town producing devices with Super AMOLED. Apparently LG's doing it to.

That picture is classic!

Great, so right around the time the new season of Spartacus starts airing, they'll be removing my ability to watch it...

What we've got here... is a failure to communicate!

Sorry Mozilla, but you got to this party way too late. I'm a die-hard Dolphin user, and the only way I'll make the switch to Firefox Mobile (which I've tried and didn't really like the UI for) is if Dolphin drops the ball in a big way and releases a version that sucks... And even then I'd probably just switch back to

I think they key there, as Shisnopi said, is Apple's great marketing. Razer (probably) hasn't achieved the kind of market status that will let them get away with such a steep price tag.
