Man I WISH I would hatch more Magikarp! I’ve caught so many wild ones, but they mostly have crappy IVs. The one I hatched from a 2K egg had 92% perfect IVs. After farming 400 candy, you REALLY don’t want to waste all that work evolving a weak Magikarp.

Agreed. Instead of giving money to Niantic for Incubators & Lucky Eggs, people will just be giving money to other players to buy the fully evolved & leveled Pokemon with the best movesets.

YES! Bulbasaur, Squirtle, & Charmander have a very low ratio of (catch rate)/(flee rate). Meaning that the odds of catching them on a given throw are quite low, and they’re odds of fleeing after every escape are relatively high. Which makes for an extremely frustrating and difficult to catch Pokemon.

I expect to see lots of Dratini buddies. Dragonite has become the most popular gym defender around here (for good reason). After that, Snorlax, Lapras, & Vaporeon. I used to see plenty of Gyrados, but not nearly as many anymore. Although it could just be that people use Gyrados for attacking, but Dragonite for

Also, why did they get rid of the “Nice”, “Great”, and “Excellent” throw bonuses? And they didn’t say a word about that change either.

Which, specifically? I was using some alternatives after Pokevision shut down, like fastpokemap, Skiplagged, and this compass thing, and even those seem to be down now. If you know of any that are still functional, I’d really like to know.

Yeah, it’s not terribly unreasonable. But progress slows to a crawl past level 20 anyway, so making everything harder to catch in general is just compounding the problem that was going to hit me at this point regardless. Basically it’s just making an already tough situation even tougher.

Yeah, it’s definitely harder. What’s funny though is that I just hit level 20 over the weekend, and everyone has told me how much harder it is to catch things when you’re over level 20, so all week I’ve just been assuming that’s why these bastards keep dodging and breaking free.

That was always my experience as well - no curveball bonus when I did throw a curveball, but randomly getting the bonus when I threw it straight - but that problem seems to have been rectified.

I don’t know how true this is, but I’ve read several reports that you the Eevee naming trick doesn’t work reliably the next time you try it for the same type. So like, naming an Eevee Rainer and evolving it works to get the first Vaporeon, but if you try the same thing a second time, it won’t. But if you name that

I’ve had days where I’m sitting at my desk at work with the game up on my phone, which is sitting still on my desk, and the GPS drift jumps me around continuously throughout the day. I get tons of free Pokestops, wild pokemon encounters, and best of all, lots of free km for my eggs. I’ve hatched several 5km eggs

Man, what is the deal with the curveball thing? I wasted so many balls getting good at curveballs, but I almost never get any credit for them. Yet, like you said, I’ll randomly get curveball bonuses on normal throws.

I’m a gummi addict as well, but I’ve always hated Haribo Gold Bears. I demand soft, squishy gummies, and Haribos are pretty much always the hardest gummies on the market. I have, on very rare occasions, come across soft Haribos, but in my experience it is exceedingly uncommon.

I agree, it was good (I wouldn’t say “awesome” personally, but I definitely did like it)! It’s a shame how it’s being lambasted before it’s even released in the US. As far as video game movies go, it’s easily one of the best yet, if not THE best. And it’s generally a solid, fun, brutal (seriously you guys, it’s brutal)

I’ve got the TP-Link Archer C9 router at home and it really is fantastic. The range is incredible, it’s 2.4GHz & 5GHz with separate public networks, and the software interface is intuitive and powerful. I highly recommend it, especially at this price.

I’ve also been using MFP for a long time, off and on for a couple of years.

Man I hear that! I’ve got Netflix, Hulu and Amazon, and I still don’t have a legal way to stream AMC.

Yeah that is a very tempting deal.

I agree about being disappointed with the Spider-Verse series. The art is very much not my style, and the story so far has been resoundingly ‘meh’. I love Dan Slott’s work so it’s hard to see someone else take up the mantle so poorly.

Eh, a few other series have people going b/w the realms. M.O.D.O.K. for instance, shows Gambit sneaking from the Sentinel realm into the Killzone (neither of which are the X-Men realm that he’s allowed to be in).
