Nah. Dad is in Tennessee, my Mom is high risk along with my grandmother. Wife’s family is going down south, so it’s just us and the puppy dog. It’ll be exciting!

Detroit was the hotspot 2 years ago. Know some people who bought multiple houses up, re-did them, and are now holding onto them when the bubble really builds.

Ugh, it’s insane. Like when my Dad says “Why don’t you buy a house?! Our first home in Toledo was $45,000!”

I love the last generation of Z4. All the right curves, proportions, manual tranny and a smooth 6 cylinder.

Wisconsin is special, imo.

I have a lot of NASCAR stuff, I never pay full price though (t-shirts, hats, mugs, running shorts, etc). I usually go to the gypsy tents at races and buy old stuff or check out Ebay for a favorite driver at the end of the year, bonus if their sponsor is leaving!

I’m torn because I think the Chase system was the best way for a driver to win the Championship, and it feels hollow to win this way.

No ETA? What’s the hold up, painting the bumper by hand with ERTL paint?

Don‘t ever drive anything from the mid half of the century then. One brake line or master goes, they all go.

Rear brakes really aren’t that essential. Most vehicles I’ve driven with rear brakes pinched off stop just as good as you’d expect with both rears. Just don’t go racing around town in your $500 beater and call it a day.

Everyone forgets the mid 60's Tbirds and they are the coolest.

I guess

FJ’s are cool, until you need to see out of them.

Hertz may have made mistakes leading up to their demise. I barely rented from them and would get bumped up all the time.

The Impala is the Cadillac of the rental counter. It’s a damn shame Chevy killed it, as it’s a competent vehicle that really is a looker/handler/road milage eater.

The rust under the wood is a concern, as I’m sure it looks like Mars underneath.

Now playing

It’s funny, NASCAR when it was founded tried to distance it’s self from Moonshiners. Then in the 21st century they make an IMAX movie with it’s up and coming stars, acting like moonshiners

Yeah, the Tesla idea does not intrigue me. Their engineering is great but build quality and customer service are not up to par, yet. I also don’t have the pockets for one yet either.

The issue I have is that I have to go to the Harley Museum for DC charging, and what if someone else is using it? Of course “if’s and but’s are like candy and nuts”, but it is a genuine concern.

Well someone better tell my offices to spring a few thousands on a charger just for me, eh?
