They were technically racing at Phoenix, Darlington, and Daytona in the film. 2 tracks known for beat up cars, and Daytona where you can still race after “The Big One”. So it’s not out of the realm that they would look this way.

What’s funny is that last year, NASCAR put out a huge documentary on the making of the film and it’s impact for the sport. Everyone had such great things to say about the director and production of the film. Seeing now that folks got paid to sit around and do drugs, I agree with them wholeheartedly.
Days of Thunder…
That was the best time of the NASCAR fan. Everyone wanted a piece, everyone knew a driver, everyone had merchandise and hype. It was a wave that no other sport has come close to matching before or since.
Go back and watch some Bristol races from the 90's. They looked worse off then some of the cars from this movie.
There’s a difference in how you parrot an opinion vs. coming up with a different angle. I assume you, and your fellow writers, hate these “slide show” articles per previous staff’s opinions. If it’s just an easy slap and stick of opinion to get this out the door, that’s just lazy journalism and shows the quality of…
I thought I’d give it a whirl since I have been gone for awhile, glad to see my time was spent elsewhere.
Holy hell Bradley, I wish I had a job as easy as yours. Take a list of well thought out and somewhat decent arguments for collector vehicles, only to make your argument “No.” and move on. It’s amazing that a 4 year old’s argument can pass as acceptable with the editors in charge here.
Correct, but I’d assume these electric boats would have a charger built into a cable that can be connected to a 240 or 120v plug at the dock.

Someone has never heard of NOx emissions, have they?
As someone that doesn’t get to make it to every Festival of the Arts, I enjoy these articles. I won’t say I’m going to Epcot for the food, but it’s a damn good reason to go if you’re in Orlando.
It went to collage? Are you saying it went to art school?
That I’m sure was made with the highest quality labor and no government funded slavery, no sir. Not in a totalitarian government!
This is for the 4xe model, which is considered a higher trim model. Base GC’s start at 38k.
Death wobble is an issue due to the steering linkage on a Solid Front Axle either being loose or worn. The Wrangler Rubicon is stable for daily driving and off-roading, you hit any car in a large, BOF SUV and you risk rolling it.
Mansell was a damn good driver, but don’t forget he broke his back at the first oval race. Exactly why more practice and understanding is good for any driver.
Yes, Montoya won after how long in the car? Patrick’s only win in the series was a rain shortened race at Motegi.
Regardless, it’s a difficult type of racing that can’t just be hopped into, safely.
Indy oval is like nothing else on earth. No driver can just come from road racing to oval racing and be safe and successful (look at Kimi, Montoya, Patrick, etc.)
BOOOOOOOO
So if you’re an Uber/Lyft driver in the area, will the charge be added to the customers expense for the ride?
