Well it’ll take a second to get used to the new design, however I must give props for gathering all the stupid David Tracey videos in one easily ignored area, so for that this is the best redesign!

2005-7 SLK350? There are 2 on autotrader in the $10-$11K range one with the 6spd. Maintenance isn’t unbearable on these, especially if it’s not a daily.
The same thing the Des Moines, Iowa PD was when they bought Zero electric motorcycles. They cost 4 times that of a Suzuki DR with a 10th the range. Just boosting public image, last I checked they never use them.
I had a 2003 Passat Wagon w/ the 1.8t and it was great right up to when it wasn’t, and it didn’t meet that cliff gently, it grabbed hold and Leeroy Jenkins’ed right over the edge.
Here’s a can of “new car smell” amazon.com/CRC-03300-Silicone-Release-Aerosol/dp/B0013IZSDM/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=mold+release&qid=1598636980&sr=8-5
It’s been ordained, ‘69 was a fluke, no Andretti will ever win an Indy500 again, pretty sure it’s written on stone somewhere.
Was going to say this. It was an absolutely fantastic race too!
Damon Hill took a turn at Arrows after coming off of a title win at Williams, I mean it’s not unheard of for successful drivers to ‘slum’ it. Let’s be honest the ‘97 Hungarian GP when he was leading after passing Michael, you were cheering the shit out of Hill, everyone was :)
Probably not. I’d bet that 90% or more MTB sold never touch dirt once.
Eh, if it hasn’t been hosed out by the local fire department it’s not worth it.
There is less torque than the stock 3.8 though, it’s 1ft/lb but still.
Thanks, makes sense.
...“while my my German skills are decent”... Nürnberg, Germany.
I think you have a typo here, you said ‘riders’, “But I fear that a quarter of a million riders”.
ARB: We introduced a dimmer switch!
My (now) wife had a Metro convertible back in the day, we drove to Chicago to see a concert and driving that thing in Chicago traffic was just plain fear inducing. It can’t get out of it’s own shadow much less merge and maintain much over 60mph. I can’t imagine that the dualy conversion has done anything but make it’s…
You forgot your German mechanics Uber-Arms, think 3 elbows, about the same diameter as spaghetti and the ability to hold 400lbs at 90° to your torso, and if you chose the upgrade, a 10mm socket dispenser option.
HS graduation, Dad had a ton of frequent flyer miles on TWA and wanted to use them before they expired so the two of us went to Europe for a couple weeks. We flew First Class and got to sit in the very first row of a 747, the window was on a curve and we could see forward instead of just out. Very cool.
Indy has always been about going 500 miles at the fastest possible speed so it makes sense to list the top qualifier in MPH rather than lap time. Everyone always refers to the drivers speed not time, it’s all “Arie went 236.986MPH, the Dutchman was flying in his Provimi Veal car!” why Provimi Veal still stands out in…
