The one feature that would make the thing usable in RTS Games (though not competitive by any means) would be if I could map a button on the controller (ideally a grip) to bring up the on screen keyboard, and ideally maybe even have a couple of mappable keyboards. Anything to let me access “hotkeys” without losing the

I don’t play at the Pro level but I always thought part of the meta game of the draft was denial. While he could have been taking it for the money (he probably was) when I play with my friends I will take powerful cards the won’t end up in my deck just so I don’t have to face them.

While I agree they made the wrong choice, you assume it was out of lack of forethought,or poor design. It might have been a strategic choice. If they had a finite number of zombie accounts doubling the push rate, halves the time your program can run. I am more risk averse than most, so I would have taken that cut.

SC lets you switch on the fly between coupled flight (which makes the spacecraft move like an airplane) and uncoupled flight which gives you full range of motion in 6 degrees of freedom. The in universe (and quite frankly IRL explanation) is that computer controlled coupled flight is easier for us humans to wrap our

I would recommend using your Bank's Bill Pay service for just about anything, even if the company can auto-pay on it's own. Then if there is a dispute or mistake in the bill it doesn't just automatically get taken out. For example, Comcast screwed up their billing for me for 6 months with neither of us knowing (they

I guess I understand that portion of it, Intellectual Property needs to be protected, code, specific designs and the like. I think there is something to the argument that these contracts are often unfairly broad, including anything the person works on ever for instance. But unfairly broad is not illeagle, nor really

I am both confused an saddened that a company can even claim to own your "know how" whatever that means. I am not a lawyer, so I might just be reading into it too much. Is there a specific definition of know how in this sort of litigation or is it actually as vague and bull shitty as it sounds?

In defense of staying on budget for those of us that have one, the i5 for most modern gaming experiences is more than enough. The money is better spent on a better GPU IMHO. If you can scrape the extra money together will you get a better experience? sure but that argument holds for almost all components, and at

I am sorry, my comment before was an interpretation of previous comment which could be, IMHO fairly, characterized as:

Okay, I don't want to get side tracked by the ACA, as it sounds like you don't really know what it does.

I think how we deal with Natural Monopolies, which is VERY much what ISPs are, makes it a clear comparison. The Internet is a conglomeration of interconnected networks, building these physical networks (at least when discussing Broadband and Fiber) is very expensive meaning entering a market that is already served is

The precedent is already set. They should be treated as common carriers because they are, in practice, natural monopolies. We, as a nation have dealt with this before, with varying effectiveness. Looking back at the Robber Barrons of the early 20th Century and how the Railroads used their power as natural monopolies

lol yeah now that I see my typo, I am also sad :-(

yeah I think the way in which you hold this controller is radically different. It is because of the touchpads, you end up using them with the tips of your thumbs instead of the pads of your thumbs. But it is one of the most radical changes from a standard controller and has gotten almost no coverage.

My guess is that they are expecting d-pad driven games light fighters or platformers will be played with simulated d-pads on the touchpads. Who knows how well it will work but I think that is why they went for a more ambidextrous layout instead.

I think although it looks awkward, your hands are in such a different position with this controller vs a standard one we will really have to wait and see. Fortunately being an open system we can use 360 or even PS3 controllers if we want.

Yeah Subway has "Creamy Sriracha Sauce" which is not the same. Don't get me wrong I appreciate they are adding some heat to their menu, but it is not the same as the normal bottle apparently it's Sriracha and Mayo . If you have any Vietnamese restaurants near you I would try it on some Banh Mi (essentially just a

It sounds to me like they are trying to make a price competitive steam machine, with current (or near current tech). The only way to do that while keeping the form factor as small as they are is to not use off the shelf parts.

I can't really tell from the render, but my guess is the thing is super tiny. WiiU size or smaller. Even considering that... still WAY overpriced, but I can see what they are going for.

I love me some case fans! but yeah, in comparison to the $12k original build anything looked cheaper.
