If anything, locations with problematic pharmacists should be flagged for doctors’ Rx software so that they don’t risk sending a patient into that situation. The locations should also have visible signage so those who may have paper Rxs are aware of the possibility they might be sent away. 

Interesting, because the shaming incidents have been commonplace for years (including Plan B prior to OTC) and BC pills. I would love to see a follow-up article that covers every major pharmacy chain’s conscience clause. As I understand, they all have to accommodate the states that require this. Do any of them go above and beyond to ensure their customers’ well-being as opposed to prioritizing the pharmacists? 

Question: I know all the chains (?) have some sort of pharmacist “conscience clause” for states that allow this. Do any of them have a less shitty version that better protects the patient/customer as opposed to protecting the pharmacist’s fee-fees?
