Exactly! I get such a kick out of people who get pissed about F1 "cheating". If you're blatantly violating a rule, you're cheating. If you find a way around a rule, you're innovating, and F1 is absolutely rife with innovation.
Riiight. Because British contributions to the English language are always so straightforward and sensical. Why call it a speedbump when "sleeping policeman" is available? What's a "bobby"? Oh, that's just what sensible people call a policeman. Uh-huh.
I've talked to multiple insiders at COTA, and the excuse seems to be wrapped around "printing design updates" thrown at them by FOM, way late in the game. Something smells fishy. Spoke with a contact at the local paper, and he said he's not getting straight answers either.
I definitely get the impression that the folks on the phone, answering emails and answering Facebook/Twitter/etc. PMs are trying to help unbork a bad situation.
That spot was awesome for the Aussie V8 races. Close to food and water, breezy, good sightlines.
Grain of salt... I posted this on FB and a friend of mine who is a pretty well-informed economic development consultant here in ATX messaged me and said she heard from an unnamed client that COTA was having some possibly significant behind the scenes cash flow problems. I LOVE electronic tickets. That's pretty much the only way I'll see a movie anymore: purchase tickets online, know I have seats, BOOM. Done.
Dead on. Ordered ours in March, as soon as they went on sale, didn't show up 'till yesterday (11/7, not 10/?), live in MO. Got bland tickets instead of nice ones, was hoping to frame with last years. Looking forward to the trip, disappointing thus far though.
It's the week before the United States Grand Prix—do you know where your tickets are? Lucky you, then. Until I got…
I bet Vettel's dog is better.
Correction: Goodbye massive xbox 360 power brick with short ass cable.
I was surprised no one made a bigger deal of the Venano being named after a Bull that actually killed a Matador. I did not know that until watching this last night.
Patrick, did you actually hear Deford's piece or did you read it later? I heard it on the radio and didn't take umbrage. Partly because he has a point (to some degree) and partly because if you've ever heard his pieces you'll know that his style is often wry sarcastic observation as opposed to plain and direct…
Looks like Robb Holland.
My conversation is as follows:
Heck, an Si or Type R version of the Fit would outsize that little guy by a wide margin (pun intended?)
Neutral: I've had my Focus for over a year now with the MFT with Nav. It has four distinct modes plus home which shows a bit of each.
