Saw this last night on FB. Insane. The scariest/craziest part, I thought, wasn't the flip, but the knife edge traverse sections at the top with the obvious you-fall-you-die drop offs.

And it is all concrete.
What's really really shocking is that the asshat was able to get away with the burn out for that long. Why wasn't he black flagged and why weren't there officials flagging traffic? Even more incredulously is how other competitors just keep barreling through despite this big cloud of smoke across the track. There could…
Do they not have flaggers at these events?
I agree completely with what Nigel says. Come on, it's not like Hulkenburg can help it. Just because he's taller doesn't mean he should be disadvantaged. Performance should be about the driver's talent, not how about how much they weigh.
Meh. Write another article called something like this and I'll be interested: How to Get Roads Closed So You Can Dick Around on Them Even if You are a Shitty Driver and Broke.
Texas is a state made of very long, very straight, very smooth roads, one of the few places where, laws be damned, you can actually stretch the legs of a 1,000 HP car. It's also a state populated by people who worship the word "more."
Most aggressive drivers look ahead up the road, most timid drivers don't see 100 ft ahead of them.
No, timid drivers are the worst drivers. If you can't make instant decisions on the road, you don't deserve a license.
I would say Southwest has good coach service, except for one little thing that they don't give you, which everyone else does: a goddamn boarding pass. Seriously, how hard would it be to assign everyone a seat, instead of making them board by group? I might like to sit next to the person I'm travelling with for our 5…
I freakin' love this story.
Back in the day, carburetors needed time to warm up (particularly during winter), but these days all you need to do is keep revs low until the needle is at the right place and your engine will have enough oil where it needs it. Sitting in the cabin for ten minutes running the engine is a waste of time and fuel.
Yesterday's race was fantastic for a lot of reasons.
WEEEEE IMMA COP
Umm...modern cars are safer. What the fuck are you on about?
But they are...
I don't really agree with you. First of all, you only need to buy the supplies once (besides the oil). 2nd, at least for me, changing the oil also usually means tire rotation etc.
