I really think this whole thing was just an opportunity to step the Trump Grifting Empire up another notch. Unfortunately for him, he’s out of his league now, and finding out that, unlike his idol Putin, he can’t simply do whatever he wants and get away with it.

This is something that has always puzzled me. Trump has gotten away with murder in the past. By getting into politics, he now lives under so much scrutiny that most, if not all, of his scams will be exposed.  I’m not seeing the logic.
