WTF is a mood buggy. Does anyone read this drivel before it’s published? Do you just make sure the ads are popping and then hit publish?

Oh, I meant it was a $500 job if you do it yourself. The gasket kit is about $200, and I spent $125 to have the heads skimmed and the valve seals replaced. ARP head studs were another $150. The gasket kit (from Atlantic British) includes all upper engine seals, injector rings, etc.

What’s wrong with it that would cost $3K to fix? If it’s just the head gaskets, they can be done over a weekend for less than $500 including machine work. 

I replaced the headliner in my 1992 Range Rover with green canvas because it was the only thing I could find wide enough that was cheap.

It allows more oxygen beyond atmospheric pressure in the cylinder the same as forced induction does. Therefore it is considered to not be NA

If the capital used to make the Fusion can be allocated elsewhere to get a higher return, then that’s the smart move. It doesn’t matter if the sales aren’t being replaced by another Ford product.

I think your math is a little off, 15% of 106 is~16, not 7. What am I missing?

I rented one of these on vacation and it was hands down the worst modern car I’ve ever driven. The transmission must have taken 50% of the HP away from the already terrible engine. You would hold down the throttle to pass on the highway and it would bounce off the rev limiter before any acceleration occurred.

Why would you care that someone doesn’t take a car off road that you have deemed not worthy to go off road?

What does it take to get out of the greys on this site? I ask all the time. I can comment on other G/O sites and have authorship on Oppositelock. I don’t post anything controversial or incendiary. 

I hate it so much, but I don’t blame people for bringing large carry-on bags. Airlines decided that bringing your stuff with you on a trip should be a luxury so as a result people are forced to bring everything with them in the cabin.
