I see your point. I guess it sounds very...vimtim-blamey to me?

yeah, I can get behind that. I think it started ok with the "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" bit then just spiraled out of control.
I used to work for a vet so I totally relate to everyone expecting vets to adopt unwanted animals out. Still, to ask some people to drive 4 hours total to pick up your perfectly adoptable kitten shouldn't seem reasonable either.
Yep, I'm positive it's accurate.
"rape accusers", Doug? How about rape VICTIMS?
I'd love to address the euthanasia issue since I have insider intel. Peta is not a shelter and never want to be. In fact they only ever wanted to be a vegan outreach organization, not in the sheltering business. There is the ASPCA for that and Peta chooses to advocate for animals other than dogs and cats.
Hey, fellow supporter here. don't always agree with every little thing they do, but they have changed the world for animals. People don't like them because they ask that people stop doing things they love (eating and wearing animals, mainly) but when cases like this happen, everyone is thankful Peta is around so…
It makes me so sad when I visit my sister because her 3 kids eat nothing fresh. Not even fruit. every meal is a bologna sandwich or frozen corn dogs, frozen fishsticks, mac and cheese from a box. Sometimes they will eat canned green beans but only if there is bacon in them. As a result, they are the kids who eat…
For some reason, whenever we want to host a party, everyone (some veggies but mostly omnis) chooses my house even though I have a vegan dishes only rule. Food can't be all that bad then.
Please don't speak for all kids. My kid loves all veggies except for leafies, loves all kinds of grains, prefers whole wheat bread to white and asks me to make kale chips and bbq tofu. I actually have a blog where i chronicle what I send him for lunch everyday to shut up my mother who was certain his veganism would…
Re: Kids II
I know some vegans who eat that way but not all do and certainly not me. I do have a single food processor and don't think that's excessive. It's pretty rare that my family eats those vegan luxury processed items. We usually are eating what most people would consider "sides" - mashed yams, collards, couscous, buffalo…
my sister lives in Rosston, AR, a town of fewer than 300 people. When I visit her twice a year for weeks, I have no problem staying vegan. Even SHE has a Wal-Mart and though it's not local produce which I prefer for eco reasons, there is still a pretty good selection, even tofu.
I'm impressed you made it that far.
My partner and I are abstaining from marriage in solidarity with gay rights, but our 6 year old son already has a hyphenated last name, so it's pretty much decided that we all 3 have different last names. So what? It hasn't made anything difficult and I have a name too and it doesn't just go away just because I shack…
Well, there is the skinning animals live part, right?
I don't think that comment means that PETA staged anything. I've seen that video and the man skinning the animal also beats her and crushes her head with his boot. That comment could be referring to any of those things.
this is true. video is out there of furriers explaining this.
yeah, but I haven't bought it yet. I need to. I like his new single. Pity he isn't touring.
Bowie and Iman are my couple. I'd just be really upset if they split up.
