I would give you another star for the Corgi if I could.

Touche. That would make for an elegant segue to a commercial break.
Where is Jerry of Garcia??
Or compete to see which celeb can have him tossing his cookies trackside the fastest. Your idea is great but sadly it really only works once.
Yep, I think he would smile just as big if all he had to roll around on was a skateboard.
That is his natural state, and why he is awesome.
“Throttle leg” caught my eye as well. I think that is what I will call it from now on.
Me too, and it has saved me on at least two occasions. Being in the Look Thrice Club is a good thing.
I’ve got a 4670k and a 980ti, so it is nice to see how well things run on a similar system.
Yep, it brings a lot of good stuff to the party but it isn’t even close to even being a middle ground between VR and non-VR, much less comparable to it.
Great call on the Intel cpu upgrade, and the 970 has been the Miata of gpus for a while now. Very nice system my friend, you ought to be fine. I used to have an AMD 6350 at home and a 4300 at work and I thought they were fine. Once I upgraded to an i5 at home, the difference was such that I ensured both my current…
Sorry to hear about your vision difficulty, I hope VR can eventually work out for you but I am glad it doesn’t get in the way of you enjoying burning some virtual rubber.
Just bought it, can confirm it is awesome. Now back to playing.

Old school (REAL) Fallout reference: +1
The tires on that Mini must be solid rubber. Gosh I wish tires were actually that tough. Great clip though, always appreciated.
What cpu/gpu are you running? Nice vid and nice driving.
I think that is very well stated as to the shortcomings of the TrackIR. Despite those facts, my TrackIR unit has been a trouble free (and comparatively cheap) way for me to add a little immersion to my sims. It is far from an ideal solution but it certainly has its moments.
What kind of setup do you have? I have a 4670k along with a 980ti, and I kind of worry about my cpu sitting right at the recommended spec, rather than well above it. With the astronomical price of the VR units (I have no idea which one I prefer at this point), I am really not looking to upgrade my cpu and also have to…
I’m a couple days late, but have you ever tried TrackIR head tracking software? You wear this little metal clip on a hat and put the IR camera on top of your monitor and it does a fantastic job of tracking your head movement. I have a TON of hours in Dirt Rally and the TrackIR has been a huge part of that experience.…
