Dammit Porsche (and yes, it’s more of a styling proposal than an engineering one, but still).

It’s AM’s version, I believe.

I think that technically it’s Aston Martin Racing Green, which evolved from Almond Green. Or one of the Almond Greens anyway - there are a ton of different shades that AM have called Almond Green over the years. I think the colour was matched from Stirling Moss’ DBR4.

It’s certainly cleverer than the Gauloises sponsorship on the Yamaha factory bikes:

The timescale will be different for cars. The average car in the US is, I believe, 12 years old. The average smartphone is probably 12 months old. Proliferation will take some time without significant and continuing market intervention on the part of governments.

Her underpaid domestic staff made that bed, and now she has to lie in it.

In my opinion it’s not even the best new livery this year (that goes to the Alpine A521):

It’s close...

It looks so blobby though...

‘Bottom’ would make some sense. Some. But for the life of me I can’t figure out what the equivalent to a bosom is on a car. I really don’t think there is one.

Bosom, Justin?

The Auld Alliance, as it’s known. And it was actually in effect in the time of Wallace - John Balliol and Philip IV signed a mutual defence pact in 1295 and the Wars of Scottish Independence began in 1296.

No worries - I can see how you might interpret it that way.

The little spoiler helps a lot, yeah. The shape of the trunk is kinda odd without it.

I don’t think “well-cooked” is a synonym for “well-done” (aka “ruined”) in this case.

VW isn’t the best example to bring up here, given that they make the Touareg...

I’ll pay that.

What I’d really like to see is something like the S402 Legacy front grille:

There are so many special edition ones. The S-Series cars, the RA models, and the 22B and the Prodrive cars (P1, RB5, WR1 and RB320) are the important ones in my mind.
