This one did come wingless from the factory (I assume just so you could install your own huge rear wing without having to fill holes in the trunk lid).

Yeah, but this is about ugly cars I love.

It was really close to being attractive - if they had gone with a single opening instead of the weird pig nose it could have looked great. Charge Speed made a kit that did this, and I much prefer the look:

RR? Nobody will take that seriously. MORE R!

I’m sure that’s a misprint in the last word there...

And I like them nonetheless.

It’s between this and the 22B for me (the mechanic who does all the stuff I can’t do on my Soob has one, and it's awesome). The RA-R is almost certainly faster, it's actually even more rare, and it's sure as hell uglier. I love it.

Oh yeah. Right up there with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition.

I wholeheartedly agree. The weird central hole in the grille just looks odd.

They really should have. I don't know why people didn't like it (though it still looks worse than a GC).

The Impreza WRX STi Spec-C Type RA-R.

That sounds like a really interesting book. Thank you for mentioning it!

Butanol looks like it would be great, if we can figure out a method of producing it economically:

If generation of electricity is the primary issue, that can be resolved far more easily than a wholesale change in the vehicle fleet. As soon the ROI of renewable power generation is better than that of fossil fuel generation, companies switch over. This is exactly what’s happening in Australia - power generation

You’ve made some reasonable arguments here, so it’s disappointing that you started with a demonstrably false statement. As Defenstrator said, transmission losses in the USA are approximately 5%

Torchy old boy, I think you’ll find we prefer to *drink* our tea here on the Sceptred Isle - flinging it about seems to me to be more of a colonial predilection...

Strangeness. Has. A beauty. All its own.

Seems legit.
