We have twin boys. Surprisingly, our “cheap ass” furniture from IKEA and Cost Plus World Market survived their klutziness when they were little. Dropped things and spilled liquid on them, ran into them, walked/jumped on them, and the like.

IKEA manuals are like those for LEGOs. Give a kid $20 and have him or her assemble your IKEA furniture.

If they RTFM, it would take minutes to assemble IKEA furniture.

Most of the furniture in my house is custom made. Some are from IKEA and Cost Plus World Market. I don’t care about how cheap IKEA and World Market furniture is; I care about how nice and solid they are. Never judge something by the price.

Everybody loves to make fun of IKEA building furniture out of glorified cardboard.

I think gas-powered RC planes have to be registered because, well, they contain flammable gasoline. It can explode on impact and cause damage to property, you know. With your name in the registry, you will be held responsible. Battery-powered RC “drones” just crash and people can just abandon them. FAA has its reasons…

Doesn’t say anywhere what kind of battery it uses. Lithium-ion is less susceptible to the cold and thus lasts longer. Most rechargeable batteries use lithium-ion, so I’m pretty sure that’s it. How long it can hold charge depends on the temperature. Keep it insulated, I guess?
