Hey! 😎 My bad for the delay. G/O sites are blocked here because of their thuggish text-mapping and data-mining practices. I have to use a VPN to access blocked sites, but sometimes when I do, they don’t work.

Damn, still no fix for the issues with both Dark Mode and Smart Invert enabled...

Hey! 😃 What the fuck happened to Kinja? It’s so dead and White Noise and Hacker Space are gone.

Pretty much, yeah. The last iPhone I got excited about was the 7 because of its water-resistance.

Another free-but-with-strings-attached alternative to Photoshop: NIK Collection. If you don’t mind Google mining your computer for juicy personal data and waking up or turning on your computer in the middle of the night to perform updates, you can download it for free.

It’s not possible to filter the entire atmosphere. Plants need sun and oxygen to grow and produce food. Once an asteroid hits the Earth, there is no escape. Period.

Oxygen makes up a small fraction of the atmosphere. After the impact, the air would be filled with various toxic and radioactive pollutants. Your lungs would eventually become too clogged to filter these out. The atmosphere would most likely collapse, and thus exposing you to solar radiation. The impact could push the…

If the asteroid was big enough and the Earth was a solid rock, then yeah, the G-force could throw people and objects off the planet. The Earth crust and body of magma would most likely cushion the impact. Despite this, it still would wipe thousands of miles around the site clean.

Honorable mention: The Car. It is a weird and comically bad horror melodramatic movie about a car that kills people.

Hang on, starting a new Kickerstarter project to investigate this Kickstarter project.

Wouldn’t it be pretty cool to actually drive a car on train tracks?

Ahh, I miss thermochromic shirts...

(orders a pair for my pool) Thanks! 💩

In addition to whotaketh’s comment, if you want a solid tripod, Gitzo and Manfrotto are good places to start. They have aluminum and carbon fiber tripod legs and magnesium ball and pan/tilt heads. Most of them aren’t cheap, but you can check KEH, eBay, and Craigslist.
