Chocolate Halo Top Ice Cream - super chocolatey, great tasting, but by comparison relatively good/healthy.

Good job!
I’m taking Solgar liquid Vitamin D3, and Solgar Vegetarian Iron. I do take a probiotic, especially with the meds I’m on. It’s Renew Life’s 150 Billion Ultimate; expensive, but it works.
Oh my god, that sounds awful! I have a weakish stomach, so this is good to know. Oof. Maybe that’s one to try when I don’t have to be somewhere....
I ditch work & spend the day at the multiplex. They don’t check if you have tickets (other than at the front door) and generally a different screen starts within a few minutes of another ending.
that sounds amazing! Now I want some, I wonder how hard it is to make?
I usually go with something from OPI for pedicures, but I don’t have a favorite color. Something metallic or shiny in a color that matches my mood!
So Danny MacAskill probably isn’t your cup of tea to watch then? (Spoiler warning: crazy mofo on a bike hopping on rooftops. Beautifully shot, though the GoPro helmet footage can make me a little woozy.)
Hot baths with fancy bath salt (not the drug kind) and body wash, really lovely incense burning, and face masks.
I bought myself sunflowers this week, but I also like to treat myself to something to read and a nice coffee in a shop with a window seat.
I took fish oil for a while and honestly didn’t notice much of a difference. I also took flax seed oil at one point, and I tried ginseng for energy a year or so ago without much effect.
Epsom salt baths, loose leaf teas as you mentioned, bedtime yoga, elaborate baking projects!
i like to just sit in bed with my kitties and re-watch gilmore girls for the billionth time and ignore everything. it’s nice to not feel guilty about wasting time.
Buying flowers and eating ice cream. Butter pecan is my go-to flavor.
Extra b12 is supposed to give a boost I think, plus the reg multi. Are you in West/Upstate NY?
I’ve been wondering about vitamins, too. I’m going to piggyback on your question to ask if anyone has tried SAMe supplements or 5HTP and have experiences to share? I wanted to try it for depression/anxiety.
I take Alive for women over 50 (I know you’re way younger, but they have a regular women’s version), plus sublingual b12, folic acid, liquid D3, vegetarian iron and Vitamin C. I notice issues within a week if I don’t keep up with the vitamins.
There is also something to be said for taking established trails on the lesser travelled areas. I read somewhere that the population on the trail decreases by 90% once a person is out of view of the parking lot. So it’s not like you even have to hike 15 miles or anything. Yosemite was the most crowded NP we’ve…
Yup. I’ve only lived here for 8 years, but in that time it seems that most of the people who have got swept away are guys in their early 20s (ie. college kids who think they’re invincible). It’s a shame, but possibly the saddest part is those people must all die realizing it’s their own damn fault.
