It does happen, although the only statistic I ever saw on it was almost negligible. I had a friend who was accused unjustly of rape, and it took me a long time to find a study that had any kind of actual statistics on it.

There's nothing wrong with Southern Oregon... :(
I don't know why I said DreamHost, they're my domain registrar... I meant to say DigitalOcean.
Damn it... I meant digitalocean. I use DreamHost as my registrar.
Awesome! I really do enjoy a lot of self-hosted applications. DreamHost's $5 a month hosting really is a huge bang for your buck with this type of stuff.
This is the same crap excuse people give about not tipping. If you can not afford the meal, don't eat there.
I've tried mighty text, and I've found it to be unreliable. Airdroid sometimes has a slight lag while the page shows the text, but mighty text would sometimes just not display a received text. I'd have to exit and reload the whole thing.
Get the right tools for the job. Seriously, things like a crockpot or rice cooker are extremely useful, and make life a lot easier. A lot of people on a tight budget, also have very tight schedule. It may seem a little expensive at first, but I found letting these two tools do the work saved me a lot of money when…
I didn't say anything about not being able to pay rent... Try again.
That would be different I suppose. I hadn't considered trying it with an existing relationship,
Right, but let's say that we're both trying to get the same apartment. Let's say everything else is equal; our credit scores are relatively the same, rental history is great, blah blah blah.
I feel like this would fall on shaky ground in Oregon. Here a landlord can require deposit+first month's rent OR first+last month's rent. They cannot require both. By accepting such a deal, they're likely opening themselves for some huge issues.
Not always true. There are a couple states that the crazies own (Arizona I think?) where they have declared that businesses cannot prohibit you from carrying. I will avoid theses states at all costs.
That's not a problem unless they're mandating that people are there or maybe are heavily advertising it at the station/to whomever they come across.
Or maybe point it out?
Crazy yes, but I'm not seeing the 1st Amendment violations...
A lot of times dogs can sense big storms before they actually happen and freak out.
If you have a PCI slot available and room in the case, SATA expansion cards are great.
Kind of makes sense when you think about it. A name is generally easy to pronounce if you're familiar with it. People are generally more relaxed/trusting in situations where they have a decent level of familiarity.
No it isn't, but I know a few people like that and I rarely have good things to say about them.
