Does anyone know of a free/OSS version of crashplan? There are several directories I'd like to backup to my home sever over ssh, but I really haven't found anything that seems to have comparable options.

I wouldn't mind paying $10-20 a year for it.

I would agree except for the ladder is made with rounded bars... I've never understood that phenomena... If they were flat and easier on your feet sure, but that just looks painful.

If nothign else I get the satisfaction of making this whole thing cost them way more than the damn $550. I do plan on countersuing though for harassment and defamation of character.

The lawyer I've been talking to says we have an easy case for harassment and defamation of character (they put it on our credit report) and he wants to stick on duress just to try and make something else stick. I'll post back when it's all said and done, but I'm really not expecting this to be resolved anytime soon :(

Yeah, they sent it certified, they just don't have proof, admit they don't have proof and demand payment anyway. So we had a lawyer send a cease and desist and they continued... So court it is :P

Oh yeah, it's been done. Seriously, we contacted a lawyer and had him send them a letter too. They're just nuts.
