You know....I come from a long history of decorated police officers that did their time back in the bad old days of New York City in places like the South Bronx and the Queensbridge Houses. They took down real bad guys and only minimally used their service weapons to do so, if at all. How is it that in 2017, in Wichita

How about “Weapon Xpos Eh?”

I have issues with Le Batard, but in this case, damn good of him for holding Manfred’s feet to the fire.

Oh look, another tablet stapled to a dashboard. YAWN.

The pay will be worse, the body fatigue more detrimental, and the play garbage. But it’ll be old fashioned football.

I wasn’t really a “green chili” fan. The first time we got there and I ordered from a Mexican restaurant, I assumed it would be something like green salsa and on the side. When I got my burrito with a pool of brown liquid surrounding it, I was about to tell the wait person they must have gotten my order wrong. It was

Everything west of Silverthorne is rich fucks and grand junction *shudder*

dufuq? A hyperloop to Wyoming? Because *why* exactly? I live in Wyoming... such a thing makes no sense. LA or SD to SF makes sense. NYC/DC to ATL makes sense. But a hyperloop to Cheyenne, WY? No.

Yes! This is like the train stations in Atlanta. They’re in the most useless, out of the way places, like only malls. Oh, and a GM plant that’s been shut down. And the few good stations are unbearably rank and crowded.

I love Cheyenne Wyoming, but it has 85,000 people living there.

But Whyoming?

Am I going to drive from Denver halfway to Kansas to catch the high speed tube to Cheyenne? Cheyenne is about 2 hours from my home on the west side of Denver. The drive to Aurora is about an hour (more during rush hour).

It’s solely because there’s space to build it, unlike every other place that something like this would actually be useful.

Literally the only conceivable thing I could see this being used for is people working in Denver and buying cheaper houses in Wyoming and commuting from Cheyenne to Denver every day.

Wy indeed.

You had me at Denver, but Wyoming?

I live here, too. We really don’t have the kind of transportation issues between these places that would make it worthwhile. Maybe from Ft. Collins to Pueblo would be nice, but nobody wants to go to Cheyenne. I suppose it might work for all the people in Cheyenne who want to come down to the big city to shop or eat

I live in Denver. Cheyenne is a decent place with a rodeo once a year and some Republicans. Ft. Collins has a University. Denver has weed and hipsters while Colorado Springs has, hum, churches and even more republicans. And there is an Irish bar and a good burger joint in Pueblo. So yeah, I would totally use this

Welcome to the shitty part of Washington the rest of us on the west are embarrassed of.

Got it. Kneel for an anthem: “Don’t bother putting on my uniform”

Get DUIs, beat up women, kill people: “Welcome to the team, you have respected the squad and conducted yourself predictably.”
Get fucked.
