It’s fine to be skeptical. But the amounts of charisma the E92 M3 has is just unbelievable. Sad that due to stupid regulations, we’ll never see another high strung N/A engine from them again. Just imagine in a different dimension where BMW takes the S65 and upgrades it to a solid 5.3L of V8 displacement and making

The 2 series is pretty reliable and the E92 M3 may be a tad bit high maintenance, but still worth it, IMO.

What’s wrong with Porsche? They’re so much joy to drive and have tons of charisma, plus they’re livable on a daily basis. So what’s wrong with that?

Luxury isn't tacky or classless.

What? The new designs are so beautiful in person. Phantom, Dawn, Wraith, Ghost, etc.

You hit the nail on the head with that one! It makes me excited cause engineering and the passion the product is delivered and so much more.

Ok pricing wise, I’ll agree that Porsche went a little nuts at it and they could’ve done way better than that.

The Taycan’s mission will be to convert current Panamera owners to EVs. I don’t know why your getting all up in your own feelings over that. They were just being competitive with Tesla and not talking trash. It was Elon who not only talked his smack at the Taycan, but also went after the Taycan on the Nurburgring.

You’re kidding. That is an awesome list of cars, no seriously. All of which have personality.

This ideology of everyone flocking to the Wrangler, just because it known as THE ideal truck for everyone, isn’t right, when other competitors exist. As long those same competitors like Ford market the Bronco pretty strongly, they’ll have a solid slice of the Body On Frame 4x4 market. Body on frame trucks/SUVs,

The S60/v60 polestars have gotten rave reviews for how much of a joy they are for DD’ing and Hooning.

Volvos today are a joy to drive/hoon around still. Notably the Polestars.

An oil leak for your neighbor before 7,000 Miles isn’t going to be the same case for others. It’s called anecdotes for a reason.

This! Price this around 200k and consider it a win.

It can be in both the powertrain and overall quality of the car. Sure, the DLs have had some issues, but every 240d and other variants are still around today. Very fun too.

Well they truly were. Just like any other 70s cars they were prone to rust. Otherwise, you can find 240s in both a mint or a shitty condition.

Idk. The 240s, to me, are awesome cars to own and are pretty interesting overall. The 720 no doubt, is awesome, but the 240s are durable though.

I feel you on that. However, If I’m being realistic here, online pricing will not state the exact price and the configurator will mark it up a couple grand more, I’m willing to bet that the ideal 39k Tesla Cybertruck will sneak into the solid 40k territory. This is genuinely the same case for when I was configurating

Well, hopefully their efforts are worthy toward establishing a strong charging network.

I’ll go against the crowd and suggest buying the new Rivian R1T. The R1T seems way more handsome and looks actually futuristic and conventional at the same time. Perhaps, I’ll go far to add that you’ll get legit practicality.
