How do you really feel?
That’s a lot of words for not caring.
Yeah nothing says cool like grandmother’s Creme Brulee Mica Camry down the street.
I suggest you read Terrells articles again. You are sorely mistaken if you don’t think he needlessly injects trump bashing into everything. I don’t like trump, but if i want to read up on the sentient spray tan, I’ll go to jezebel like a normal person.
I agree wholeheartedly. Just because I don’t like trump, doesn’t mean I want to read trump bashing in an article that has nothing to do with him.
You’re correct. But Terrell does inject politics into every article, so its nice to see an FA article that keeps the politics to a minimum and only discusses them in ways that are related to the topic.
I never implied that Terrell was unintelligent bud. I was more implying that media these days, especially posts from this site, have lost any sense of integrity and just devolved into what amounts to children throwing a tantrum at a restaurant. It’s ridiculously unprofessional and a lot of it is completely…
Poor Terrell. The pariah of foxtrot alpha.
Listen dude we get it, Trump is a dummy. I agree with you, but when it is shoehorned into every article no matter how mundane of a topic, it gets a little tiring. It’s like fucking groundhog day. It’s nice to see a very well written article by an intelligent person that is informative and educational every once in a…
Romania is a good ally to have.
Trump criticism is fine. As much as I hate Trump, however, I’d rather not see EVERY issue talked about include irrelevant references to him shoehorned in. Some of the other FA writers include far too much editorializing for my tastes, even if I agree with it. I liked FA because it was simple reporting on events and…
No, the difference is that while one author presents facts without his personal bias, the other presents speculation, accusation, and opinion as fact. That’s what I’m tired of reading. Mr. Wetzel’s writing is a welcome change.
Isn’t the 2% number related to Romania being a part of NATO and having to adhere to the 2024 requirement that all NATO countries increase defense spending by 2%?
We, and especially Europe needs Turkey. Strategically, it’s one of the most important countries in NATO. We can’t just throw out the Montreaux Convention and it will continue to be an issue. It’s just as important to keep Russia out of the Mediterranian as it is to allow NATO ships in.
It’s a statement of fact. Russia has in fact invaded Georgia and Ukraine. It still holds Transnistria. It tried to kill the leader of Montenegro. It pushed Lithuania and Sweden to restart conscription.
I like Dirt Every Day’s Duster:

Excellent article Mr. Wetzel! A clear-eyed and informative analysis of the facts on the ground, without any political posturing or unfounded leaps of logic or speculation. This is what FA needs more of.
Will you be writing more items like this? There is a certain someone who would have turned this into a political rant, but this is much more informative and enjoyable. Good work!
