EVs depend on aerodynamic and weight-saving designs to allow them to achieve the kind of mileage most people find reasonable. Your hypothetical Equinox would probably get less than 100 miles out of a charge.

Next will be “Where was Northam on 9/11? Is he a Taliban, is he an Al-Qaeda? Why won’t he take a lie detector test!?”
Gillespie’s MS-13 ad was pretty shitty, but this was a terrible response to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Northram’s numbers suffer from this.
This. As I understand it this was hastily and poorly written legislation.
If he was currently in the local police academy, he would be drawing pay.
You act like that’s a bad thing...
I should have known that comment would turn into a pedantic nightmare.
Retrograde attitude, not retrograde orbit. If the strap-on boosters increased the forward velocity of the Mercury capsule, it would result in an increased orbit altitude (at the apogee). The point of the strap-on boosters is to de-orbit. The capsule did a 180 degree flip, then fired the strap-on boosters (in a…
The strap-on boosters were fired when the Mercury capsule was in a retrograde orientation. In space it doesn’t matter which way the pointy end is facing.
If we’re getting technical, the Mercury strap-on retro booster was intended to slow the spacecraft down (and de-orbit).
Also there’s a couple of regular AT-ATs mixed in there, and the new one is like 50% larger. That thing is a beast.
According to IGN, sourced from Empire (magazine I think):

Are you really going to try and outlaw all gas driven semi-auto actions? That covers way more than just ARs, including most modern semi-auto shotguns.
I wasn’t aware Elio had any operations in New Jersey.
As I recall, the original plan was to use an off the shelf Ford motor. If they’d have stuck with that they might have a working production vehicle.
My high school Key Club had more than $4,000 in the bank.
This guy figured out that the stock rims under the “aero wheels” are actually pretty good looking, and don’t cost extra.
