Have you tried?

Daesh is so much better. ISIS/ISIL hates it because it’s similar to several negative words in Arabic (I’m not going to pretend that I understand it all).

Bingo. This is Israel trying to minimize the influence of Iran and Hezbollah.

Egypt and Jordan have relatively good relations with Israel.

“That jackass Republican deserves to be dead.”

Wrong answer. Political assassination is wrong no matter who the target is.

I have explicitly said that I don’t agree with the Medicaid cuts. I think the system has problems, but cutting the funding that much or capping it is not the answer. I know this because I work with mostly Medicaid patients (in a teaching hospital), many of whom are disabled and or seniors.

The Portland guy swung wildly from one side to the other of political extremes. He was indeed a pro-Bernie guy, but he had some legitimate white supremacist leanings too.

So I take it you condone the actions of Mr. Hodgkinson?

PBR?

I would agree. It’s too valuable to risk losing (or reveal weaknesses) in a conflict like Syria, but they’ll never make enough of them to make a difference in a peer-to-peer conflict.

Late-Cold War novels like Red Storm Rising vastly overestimated the ability of T-72s, and yet they still knew we would have the advantage due to J-STARS, precision guided weapons, stealth strike aircraft, etc.

Javelins can be programmed for a terminal top-down approach.

There’s a very large obstacle called the US Navy that any country would need to defeat before invading the US mainland.

Quite easily.

They fought it tooth and nail.

So you’re going to try to judge my character from two posts? I never said my feelings were hurt or that I thought I was persecuted. I just think you throw insults out a little too freely for someone who claims to want a civil discussion. I don’t think that’s a very productive way of doing business.

1. This could end up being an issue, but there has to be something better than the open-ended setup we have now.

Where in the Senate bill do they cut Medicaid for people with disabilities?
