According to that scale on your map, planes are also much bigger today than they used to be.

Not only that, but the date of that article is 9/8/10. Seven years ago. Why is that getting dredged up again?

Trump should have accepted the accountability. But I don’t really have an issue with last night.

Haha I guess that’s their thinking. Sure is nice to be able to depend on the US/Aussies for your defense and not have to pay for a military! It’s honestly kind of a shame for New Zealand. They have a proud and impressive military history as part of the ANZAC.

Most places without a military, like Costa Rica or Iceland, are protected by other powers like the US. It’s in our best interest that Central America is kept relatively stable. A world without the US Military would be a chaotic and messy place.

We could also stop using oil if we ran our cars on rainbows and unicorn farts.

Or no warhead. Look’s like AQ #2 was hit with a purely kinetic missile a few days ago. Maybe a Brimstone. Talk about a clean kill.

Against ballistic missiles? Not at all. But it’s good for short range missiles like Scuds. Excellent anti-air missile.

This is true (as far as I know). The rounding error associated with the internal clock was recognized, but nobody thought it was that serious. Turns out that when you deploy a system for months at a time, a fraction of a second error can accumulate into a much larger error.

Bigger missiles can get through ascent faster, but what if they hit us while those big missiles are still in the silo?

Easy chief. I know how silos work. The point is it’s better to have more small silos than fewer large ones. It’s not about their proximity to each other. More silos means they have to waste that many more warheads on silos to knock out our ground based capability.

So what’s your argument? Or were you just trying to belittle me because of a part time job?

That’s the idea, but that means they’re putting most of their eggs in a few very new and very untested baskets.

It all depends on whether you can manage to get in a preemptive strike.

I’ll second that recommendation.

Not so much our equipment, but the nuclear program is outdated and poorly managed. It’s where they send incompetent officers to draw a paycheck.

The Peacekeeper was the wrong direction anyway. Bigger missiles with more warheads just means easier targets to hit and an over-reliance on just a few platforms. I’m all for updating our missile leg by using more and smaller missiles. Russia’s strategy of building bigger and bigger missiles is just a propaganda

That’s probably a much better comparison. I’m speaking from my own experience, in a city with a dozen different cab companies. I have one “good” driver that I will directly call, because I know he’s safe and quick. Other than that most drivers and companies are terrible.

I hate the credit card issue. In my city, cabs are legally required to take credit cards. But the machine is always broken and it’s too busy to call the card in to the dispatcher. But it’s not to busy to take me backwards through an out of the way ATM (that also just happens to add to the fare).

The taxi company you worked for sounds fine. But that’s not how most taxi companies operate. I went to a Walmart once that was clean and pleasant and the staff was incredibly nice. Walmart still sucks.
