The GAO quotes it at $2 Billion in R&D alone. And just $282 Million for procurement (I guess they’re getting a deal on the airframes or they’re bare bones). For reference, the new 100,000 tonnes Nuclear-Powered Ford Class super carriers cost $4.7 Billion in R&D, and they were designed from scratch with brand new

I don’t usually have to fill out any forms aside from a consent to medical procedures form. I go in, give them my insurance card and they either ask for a copay upfront or they bill me later. Sometimes my insurance covers all of it, like with my birth control, and sometimes it covers most with a small co-pay usually

I hate cats of all sizes so I’m game. Although as a dog person, I am pro-wolf.

Not sure. We should probably kill them all just to be safe.

Yeah, but I got to do it with an AR-15 in my trunk, so it all evens out.

Pretty much. I went to the ER last week and had blood work and a CT scan done. They asked for my insurance card, had me sign a couple of papers and that was it. I was there for maybe an hour and a half. The bill was $8500, but my employer has excellent healthcare and i was only out $100.

Seems weird that they call him the Surgeon General if he is actually a Vice Admiral.

I was wondering why in the world the Surgeon General is always in a uniform.

I doubt that six years is enough to see the effects of the ACA on overall survival.

Problem solved.

I think this might be the best example of a first-world problem I have ever read.

Took ballet? That’s fucking stupid and anyone who sings it that way hates Christmas and America.

Nope. Accidents that are preventable, like fireworks, campfires, etc. are absolutely considered arson.

Ya, but I mean they are a bunch of idiots. I doubt they bothered to cover up all of the evidence. Fire Investigators are pretty good at their job and there is a good amount of evidence that can be found.

I’m an assistant scoutmaster for one of my sons’ boy scout troops, and possibly the biggest challenge on campouts is keeping the younger kids from fucking around in the campfire. It doesn’t matter how much you try to explain to them about the risks of wildfires, they’ll be back sticking things in the fire and waving

A man who was not supposed to have a gun filmed himself holding a gun and uploaded it publicly. What on earth does that have to do with fake news.

Is it really though? Genuinely asking, I’ve never seen one from this angle before. My only experience with one was in a negative-4G inverted dive, so it was hard to tell much about it.
