2015 was 3.3%, which is something like 20th. The current US Navy presence in the Mandeb Strait is a good example of how the US military helps maintain open commerce. But that argument is likely to be unpopular around here.

Supplied by Iran. There’s speculation that Iranian trainers are embedded with some of the Houthi rebel forces. They’ve been supplying the Houthis with weapons for quite a while.
Seems like most sources are leaning towards Chinese C-802 missiles supplied by Iran.
This is in Yemen, not Syria. The Houthis are actively supplied by Iran, who is in turn supplied by Russia.
That would depend on your location.
None of the Johnson voters I know care about legalization. He has appeal to moderate Republicans to whom Hillary and Trump are not an option. Fiscal conservatives don’t like what they see in either major candidate.
Turns out it actually does have railing. And I think large portions of the hull are aluminum so non-magnetic.
When Kaine interrupted Pence’s 9/11 discussion to say “wait I was there too!”, it was over.
Yes! I was going to post a picture of the F-35 helmet but figured too few would get the joke.
Looks like a power converter system in the rear “trunk”. I would assume those intakes behind the rear windows serve some purpose, so maybe there’s some equipment between the “trunk” and the passenger cabin.
VR headset required.
According to his press conference the ships will head back to Earth. That’s the whole point of bringing Sebatier reaction equipment.
Lander is somewhat smaller with much more room dedicated to fuel. Only needs seats for passengers. Cargo can be split if lander is making multiple trips. Orbital Hab is light and allows for more space during journey.
The landing ships will require much less fuel to leave the Martian surface, so they can be used as “tankers” and make more than one trip to the transfer hab/ship.
Even in the South where everyone hunts them they’re assholes. They’ll eat your garden all summer long but by hunting season they’re nowhere to be found.
I heard a story about a farmer who thought he could rope a doe that was eating out of his cattle troughs. Needless to say, it didn’t work out like he planned.
Aren’t they making fuel on Mars? And leaving Martian orbit and entering Earth’s requires much less energy. Mars doesn’t have nearly the gravity well that Earth does.
A rover delivery system the size of a trampoline is quite different than the kind of ship Musk is looking at landing. The Curiosity’s heat shield had a far higher surface area/mass ratio, and that’s not including the parachutes which added much more. In addition he keeps discussing quicker transit times, which would…
The atmosphere of Mars is far too thin to rely fully on aerobraking. You’d need at least a partial orbital insertion burn before you try to aerobrake.
Just add some super lightweight spherical fuel modules to the Hab ship. Once you’re in space, engine size is much less important than fuel supply.
