It’s probably the best show on TV these days. This was definitely a stronger first season than Breaking Bad had. The writing, directing, the cast have been killing it every episode. I think I would have to go back as far as The Wire to find a better crafted first season. Maybe Game of Thrones. Better Call Saul season

There’s definitely been a downward trajectory but COD is still a huge cash cow for Activision. Ghosts, which is an awful game, has sold around 19 million copies to date. Advanced Warfare was the top selling game of 2014. It may have peaked sales wise (and probably creatively as well) but that franchise is still

2D Metroid for 3DS, please.

It helps that that Jimmy in an infinitely more likable character than Walter White. I love Breaking Bad and think Bryan Cranston was Brilliant but Walt was a garbage person.

Nice List. Growing up I always preferred the Nightmare and Halloween movies over Friday the 13th. Recently, I rewatched the first three movies and they totally hold up better than most the films in those other two franchises. I wasn't expecting that.

Hey, something I tweeted sparked a Kotaku article. Neat! Kotaku needs more articles about Xenogears. Which, as we all know, is Squaresoft's greatest achievement during their PSX golden age.

To be fair to TF2, it's set in the 1950's. Not that realism is really relevant to TF2, but not having female mercenaries is pretty realistic for the 1950's...

Huge fan of this series. The original is the reason I got a Playstation in 1996. Played it, it's two PSOne sequels and REmake countless times but haven't touched either of them in the past ten years. Holy crap did I get my ass kicked playing this game on normal. Turns out, playing old school RE games isn't at all

Currently playing Shadow of Mordor. I'm also about to give H1Z1 a whirl. After Mordor (nearly finished with it), I'll probably play Far Cry 4, Halo 2 or Resident Evil HD Remastered next.

This just makes me nostalgic for the winters parts of Bully.

Total w/ tax: about $511

I don't think Sarkeesian is too concerned with criticism. It's the rape and death threats that are the problem.

I think this would be my zeroest last gen zero. I've had two 360s fail on me. My original Pro system failed about six months after I bought it in 2007. Replaced it with an Elite system which failed about a year and a half later in 2009. Replaced the Elite through MS and this third console is still alive. Two failures

This reminds me of something that happened to me at a local EB/Gamestop once. Not the same set of circumstances but still shady. I can't remember if I was going there to buy San Andreas or if it was Snake Eater. I didn't get around to preordering either game because I was neck deep into FFXI at the time.

That's not true. Maybe some shady retailers were pulling this stunt in your neck of the woods but this wasn't a policy all US retailers were following. I preordered my PS2 and only bought the system there. No strings attached. I didn't even buy a game there because they were sold out of Kessen. I had to go to Toys R

15 years...Holy hell do I feel old. I got it for Christmas '98. That also was the year I got Ocarina of Time, Xenogears and Brave Fencer Musashi as well. Time sure flies, huh?

I've attempted to follow traffic laws in every open world driving game I've played. I think I average about 30 seconds before I drive across a median, knock over a light post, side-swipe a police car and start driving down a one way street going 90 mph. But hey, I tried.

I also didn't see any queues most of the weekend but I can confirm they're still part of the system. I managed to get queued up on Excalibur last night. However, even with the queue, I was still confronted with an error message and wasn't able to connect to the game. I haven't been able to successfully connect to a

Historically, during this generation I've bought physical games more often than digital ones. Probably something like 60/40. However since I built my latest PC a year and a half ago, and with some assistance from Steam sales, that number has gone completely in the opposite direction. I think the only physical game

I forgot to list GBA SP in there.
